Bottled (BB 10/2005)
Dark brown, almost opaque. Small expresso head. Aroma is like Grandma making Redcurrant juice. Nose has malts and barley. Base is a good soft porter, which has some sweet berries and spices with it. Basicly good choclaty and roated brew which just had too much sweet spices.

Bottled (BB 03/2006)
Dark brown, almost opaque. Very small expresso head. Aroma is spiced: apple, cinnamon and raisins. Medium to full-bodied, peppery palate which has gingerbread biscuit and other christmasy flavors. Soft palate, not much bitterness, slightly roasted aftertaste and some chocolate notes. This is Christmas Porter.

Deep translucent red-brown body, tiny light tan head. Aroma is a strange mix of toasted black malts and barley sugars/cereals (it reminds me of a non-alcoholic malt soda). The flavor is surprisingly sour and tangy with sharp malt sugars and light roasted notes leading to a distinctly woody, bitter finish. Somewhat sweet. Decidedly British and not bad!

Hazy dark amber with little head. Very malty aroma with a beginning of contamination. Very smokey malt taste with nutty character and quite hoppy. Just got this puppy before it became bad. Very pleasant!

Clear dark brown color, medium creamy brown head. Aroma of heavy roasted malts, licorice and coffee. Taste of sweet roasted malts, bit bitter, some alcohol, chocolat. Very strong, but very nice to drink after all those typical english bitters.
