Bottled. Black colour, small brown head. Strong smoky and roasted malt in aroma along with dark chocolate. Chocolate, roast and some toffeeish notes in flavour, aftertaste is very smoky (smoke from wet burnt wood) and a bit hoppy.

Almost opaque black color, small expresso head. Berry-like malty and chocolaty aroma. Medium to full bodied. Typical St Peter’s roasted malty flavor - chocolaty, smooth mouthfeel. Finish and aftertaste are hoppy with some roasted notes.

Bottled. Dark ruby red, small beige head. Plum, a bit alcohol and some malts and chocolate in aroma. Plum, roasted malt and weak alcohol in flavour. Very sweet aftertaste of sugar, plum and weak hops. A bit sticky palate.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark with only a glimpse of light shining through leaving a tint of red. Greasy, brownish head. Rather heavy in alcohol for a stout, but doesn’t appear alcoholic - actually rather a bit watery. Very solid bitterness with a discreet underlying sweetness. 100203

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown - rather than black - with a deliciously creamy, brownish head. Soft and smooth mouthfeel with a weak underlying sweetnes. I believe I can detect some honey traces here. Otherwise classical burned/smoky malty flavours. 170502

(Bottle 50 cl) Pitch black with a reddish hue. Handsome, creamy head that sticks to my glass. Distinct notes of burned malts, coffee and bitter chocolate - all the right characteristics for a good porter. Dry, fairly light-bodied and very drinkable. An aromatic and pleasant porter. 181201
