(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with a small, off-white head. Somewhat irregular caramel aroma. Light and slightly watery with accents of nuts and caramel. A light bitter finish. Very quaffable and easygoing Bitter. 270706

[Bottled] Clear reddish amber, rather brief head. Fruity nose with notes of apple and metal. Really salty with solid body. Potent with plenty of bready malt, but unconvincing clean mouthfeel. Tarry finish with lingering bitterness.

500 ml bottle at Haket in Gothenburg, Sweden. Golden color, small white head. Fresh malty scent. Medium bitterness that lingers on the toungue for a while. A bit higher than medium body. Fresh hoppy taste. When the beer warms up more of the alcohol comes out in the flavor, but not in the scent. The bitterness feels enhanced with the warmer beer as well, now well above average.

Cask at Carpenters Arms London W1H 30 Apr 06. Golden colour. Unclear. A lasting white head. Hints of malt and fruits. Refreshing but a bit dull.

Rerate May13/06 First bottle I had was called English Ale, this is Organic. Definitely not the same beer but rating now reflects this beer, not the former.This is very thin, flat,bland and visually unappealing with no head or bead. Total crap.

Bottle, Dad said that he had picked it up at Majestic in a St Peters selection box of 12. This was better than the other one that I had of their’s with some sweetness, bit malty and fruity and bit more flavoursome than its stablemate.

Bottle, Dad said that he had picked it up at Majestic in a St Peters selection box of 12. Warm golden colour, nice hoppy and floral aroma, pleasant bitterness and good refreshing beer though not wonderful.

(Cask at Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell, London 20 Apr 2006) Colour is dark brown with ruby hints, foamy head. Nose is roasted and fruity with hints of dried figs and dates. Taste is roasted with lots of dried fruit, coffee and a bitter-sweet finish. Surprisingly complex and lots of taste for a mild.

Bottled. Ruby red colour with minor beige head. Sweet sugar and malts in aroma. Flavour the same with a big grassyish and fruity finish. A bit acidic too. Aroma was nice, but the rest was quite a boredom.
