You know, I'm a little confused as to the appearance on this one. It's beautifully black with a small head, but the head poured out in chunks that looked disturbing until they settled. Not much of a smell, but what's there is great. I think I smell raisins. Very mild and plain porter... and very thick and syrupy in my mouth... did I get a bad bottle? First the chunky head and now a syrupy mouthfeel...

Cloudy dark golden. No head really, just a little lacing. Weird smell. Unsweetened apples?? Odd taste as well... grassy start, smooth mid, tart finish... I don't know if I like it or not. I don't know about this beer... is it good? is it bad? I don't know. I DON'T KNOW, this is one hard beer to review for me for some reason

Pours a clear yellow colour with a soapy like head. this one is a slight bit skunky. Through that i think I've found dusty / old book notes. Small amount of citrus and pine. Initial sip found more dusty flavours. Slight hemp beer taste to this one. Smooth / watery with next to no carbonation. Palate has some hop and yeats notes and finishes slightly bitter.

The aroma is spicy - undescribable special. The color is red and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is very spicy, noticable juniper, and slightly sweet. This beer is more special, than it is good, but I'm glad I've tried it.

Nice light strawberry blonde color to it, rosey/peach maybe. Very thin white head, some lacing. I found the aroma quite nice, more hoppy than expected, which translated over in to the flavor, but still relatively scarce. Strong and mossy, with some sweet honey tones. Body is medium, to my surprise, though it has a very wet feel. Low carbonation, but hops provide a nice zing. Sweet and creamy finish, flavors are very fresh and well-balanced. I like the above average hops profile for this style. I'm torn on the palate score, it's balanced between creaminess and a bit of a bite to it, but is very wet and juicy.

Dark brown (almost black) colour. Low head but decent lacework. Faint roasty aroma. Surprisingly thin mouthfeel. Roasted flavour with notes of chocolate and coffee. Bitter finish. "Old Style"???

Dark, brown color. Aroma more delicate than the Old-Style Porter: malt, roasted malt, liquorice, phenol, caramel. A strong roasted malt character, with caramel and liquorice, just softer than the Old-Style Porter, IMO the final is a bit bolder.

Brown, with thin fast fading head. Nose of dirty socks. Very musty, slightly earthy & molasses taste. This stuff is crap!!!

Dark color, creamy head. Strong cinnamon and nutmeg aroma, light malt and roasted malt. Interesting stout, with a strong roasted malt, liquorice and caramel flavor; quinine, Fernet Branca; dry.
