Vintage rate. Found the bottle last year in Oliver, where it would already have been vintage. We figure this was 3 years old, which in theory is fine for a Berliner weisse. Hazy straw, a little lactic, this is soft and actually a touch of sweetness. A hint of tartness, but it’s a bit thin in the finish as well.

Bottle - Vegetal notes and feet. Cloudy gold with a nice white head. Feet, cheese and weird notes. No wonder this isn’t made anywhere.

On tap at Howe Sound, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite crisp, with Belgian yeast and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is quite robust, with loads of Belgian yeast, floral notes, light hopping and a spicy crisp biscuity malt finish. Very well-balanced, clean and highly drinkable. Good.

On tap at Howe Sound, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out notes of corn, light grass and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is very clean and refreshing, with notes of grassy notes, corn, and crisp biscuity malt. Seems more like a pils than regular pale lager. Clean and refreshing. Very nice.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of licorice, coffee, chocolate, biscuit, toast and salt. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of licorice, coffee and chocolate. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Decent but too much licorice for my taste.

Goes under the name "Hopraiser" in a big 1L bottle with swingtop. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with frothy white cap, great retention and some nice lacing. Fresh, but milder than normal aromas of pine, grass and light malt. The taste is also milder, but goes up in strength in the finish with some nice bitterness from the grassy hop. Notes of grapefruit zest, but all well-balanced. An easy-drinking, middle-of-the-road IPA. Good for such a big bottle.

Thanks to AleRider78 for this one. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head that stays a while and gives out thick foamy lacing. Cereal malts with a little sweetness giving notes of fruits (oranges, raisins, prunes, apricots). The taste is more on the caramel side with a quick finish. Better than a typical macro lager, this Dortmunder is quite easy to drink. Pretty different than their 1L brews, but does the job.

Draft - Grapefruit and a touch of Woody pine. Deep clear copper with a nice beige head. Piny, bitter and some perfume. Rye and some spice in the finish. Quite nice.
