Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfig grasiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hopfig grasig mit Citrus, malzig. Leicht süß mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter bis mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

16 ounce can. Opaque dark brown color. Rocky tan head leads to cascading lace. Roasted malt aroma. Flavor follows nose. Sweet chocolate and coffee. A bit of dark sugar as well. Some creaminess on the palate. Roasted malt finish.

Hazy golden coloured body with a very fast-dying, not even a single centimetre tall pure white head, but a nice hit of haze and glow to a nice peach coloured tint. Aroma of peaches, plums, grass, light salt, a dose of wheat and some softer yeast notes with a hint of coriander seed freshness and some mild grapes. Light-bodied; Strong peach and plum fruity flavours dominate with a dose of apples and pears along with some sweetness from candy and caster sugar and a little bit of soured, tart berries towards the end. Aftertaste shows the grassy and dry flavours at first with a dose of the very fresh wheat and coriander seed notes along with a nice hit from the plum and peach sweetness and ending with a soft, but briney finish from the salt. Overall, a very nice, incredibly fresh and easy-drinking beer that hits the fruity and wheat/coriander seed notes nicely, but perhaps misses the marks in complexity, but that is to be expected with the style. Nice to sample, but not a gose that must be purchased! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 24-February-2018 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Washington on 17-March-2020 - Saint Patrick's Day, one of the hottest days of the year so far here in Washington.

Draught @ Pencil Factory (2/29/20). Cloudy reddish brown with almost no head, sweet caramel aroma, low carbonation, bitter caramel taste with cinnamon-cloves-nutmeg, thin body, long finish. Not terribly exciting.

16 ounce can from some food shop at Penn Station in NYC on way home from Eagles concert at MSG. Number one with a bullet. Pale yellow gold with a frothy white head. Light grainy wheat malt aroma. Crisp, dry wheat malt flavor upfront. Light bodied with spicy, mineral notes. A hint of lime in finish.

Cans at Avant Gardner: pours hazy with white head. Aroma is vague tropical fruitiness and citrus. Taste is mostly sweet citrus. Nothing too interesting. Meh.

Can, from Malt & Mold. Pours faintly cloudy pale yellow with foamy whitish head, citrus aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter citrus-coconut taste, faint cherry flavor, thin body, long finish. Decent, but nothing special.
