Aroma: nice Brett and farmhouse notes.
Taste: along the same lines, nicely assertive, a bit bitter to my taste.
Overall: enjoyable.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma has subdued piney hops, biscuity malt, and some big bready notes. Flavour is well-hopped for a red, with a nice woody resinous hop character, bready malt, and a touch of pine. Well-balanced, nice hop punch for a red; pretty solid stuff.

Pale, bubbly head. Fresh, bright, leafy hop aroma with clean pale malt. Similar palate. Very well balanced, breezy, refreshing.

Musty yeast character, medium bitterness. Not my type of saison.

Hazy and a bit dull. Tart, lightly buggy, with a hint of something a little off…butyric. More on the nose than the palate. Good body.

Dark brown, thin head. Aroma has lots of chocolate and cinnamon. Moderate residual sugars, a fair bit of cinnamon & sugar sort of thing, light vanilla.

Gold, just a chill haze, thin head. Aromatic…stone fruit, floral, probably 586 in here too. Ok one sip and 586 confirmed. A bit too much, but there’s nice bitterness and clean pale malt, too.

Amber, bright, thin head. Tart, bretty, light caramel notes in the base, not much bitterness. Amber saison, decent.

473mL can, pours a cloudy faded orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of pithy tropical fruit, subdued citrusy hops, minimal hopburn. Flavour has basically no bitterness, with plenty of tropical fruits, plenty of pith, low hopburn/chalkiness, light citrus, and a floral overtone. Nothing offensive about this, but it’s really just quite timid. A fruity, timid beer — nothing that I look for in an IPA, let alone beer in general. Pleasant.

On tap at Beva, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of big woody resinous hops, huge pine, and a hint of grapefruit pith—classic WC nose. Flavour is even more assertively with that woody resinous hops and big oily pine—tons of Chinook and Columbus coming through—backed with just enough crisp biscuity malt. This is wonderfully brewed, taking me back to the mid-2010s when hazies hadn’t yet polluted craft beer. Really great stuff.
