Quite pale. Head froths up a bit. Sort of dull-looking, though. Ok on the nose I do get a bit of yuzu; the rest is kind of muddled, though. On the palate, same impression…a dull and muddy pale that they tossed some yuzu into in an attempt to cover it up.

473mL can, pours a hazy dull blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma has a nice saline and coriander character upfront, with plenty of citrus, and light floral notes. Flavour is bright, spicy and floral—the orange, spicy coriander, saline, and floral character all come together really well. Finishes dry, somewhat spicy, not the least bit lacto-y. Really nicely done gose.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with a white head. Tons of sharp dry pine, a bit woody, and biscuit malts on the nose. Flavour has a really sharp pine character, very woody, a bit grassy, resinous, biscuit malts, and a very biting bitterness throughout. Even though this is a few months old now this is still great with loads of hoppy bitterness.

473mL can, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is pretty muted, not really revealing the grape skins beyond an earthy, muffled character, along with gentle wild yeast. Flavour is thankfully better, with still an earthy character that maybe doesn’t express the grapes as well as possible; there’s some nice tannins and gentle wild yeast expression. It’s good and appreciate such efforts, but they’ve got a ways to go to produce wild ales that match the quality of the elites.

On tap. Pours amber with light head. Aromas of soft earthy yuzu, cactus and biscuit like malts. Flavors carry a ton of malts with stale hops and a touch of cardboard. Maybe old on the tap?

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 03/03/2026). Clear-ish gold with small white head. Aroma of light citrus and pine hops. Taste of citrus, sweet jolly rancher, and mild pine hops on the finish over a soft biscuit malt. The jolly rancher sweetness is a unique pleasant surprise that integrates very nicely.
