Cask @ Tap and Can. Pours a generally clear golden yellow, good white head. Citrussy nose. Soothing flavour profile with pleasant fruity hop shades, nice bitter close.

Cask-conditioned at the Nags Head, Reading 21/9/2023. Jet black in colour, with a tight, beige, head. Brown sugar, rich chocolate character, some dark berry sweetness before a toasty finish with a slightly creamy edge. Very good.

24-27/10/2023. From the Curiosity Bar at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours clear dark golden with a large frothy white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, grapefruit, lemon, straw, slightly musty. Moderate sweetness, medium citric bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Light dry and tart finish. Pretty decent.

Bottle from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is most certainly cookie dough, touch of marzipan, caramel, toffee, cappuccino. Taste is cookie dough, aniseed, toffee, spot of coffee lingering in the back end. Sweet spice & lightly bitter hops in the aftertaste.
