Description
In the quaint little village of Cromwell, in the heart of Nottinghamshire nestles our modest brewery. Run by husband and wife duo, Ken and Fran Munro, true connoisseurs in craft ale with a motto for quality over quantity, we brew the finest, most flavoursome ales every time. We keep our base recipe simple using the four traditional ingredients hops, malt, wheat and water and have won numerous awards since opening our doors in 2004.
We supply cask and bottled beers to pubs, farm shops and breweries up and down the country. Brewing 5 days a week, we have a varied selection of ales, whether itโs a blonde you prefer, citrussy pale ales, red or amber bitters right through to porters and stouts we have something for everyone.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers. Aroma of raspberry jam, raspberry yoghurt biscuits and wheat. Taste is full of raspberries that linger in the aftertaste. Quite watery and not a lot else to it.

Cask at the Criterion, Weston. Clear gold with small white head and good lacing. A nice hoppy mandarin, peach and light spice with a biscuit malt. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying quality with decent bitterness amongst the sweet notes. Liked this.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, just labelled 'Dasher' but the same ABV and style so must be the same. Clear amber brown with moderate sized off-white top, nice lacing. Aroma has a light roast to the malt, brown bread, nuts, very light spur hint. Taste the same with some berry notes. Tasty with good balance between bitter and sweet although a touch thin to be a great ESB.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a near black, moderate sized beige head, nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, tangy fruit, chocolate, a certain creaminess. Taste is toasty and grainy with a berry fruit tang, chocolate and a roasty semi-dry bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel has a lovely smoothness to it with a fine carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Cask @ Postal Order, Blackburn. Hazy golden with a glow and a creamy head. Strong brew but allows just about enough through for it to be worthwhile with its tropical fruit notes. Bitter style nose.

Cask @ The Albert, Hebden Bridge. Black with a creamy-frothy off-white head. Pleasantly textured dark beer, light porter character with a touch of sweetness to it as its chocolate notes come through.
