From the box at the Bree Louise. Pours a ghostly, slightly cloudy yellow-white with no head. Heavy apple nose, some hints of booze. Medium sweet flavor, pretty tangy, medium ripe apples, slightly dank. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Mild warmth on the finish, tart apples and light sugars. Fairly acidic, too. Nice cider.

[On tap at the Belle Vue, High Wycombe] My first perry, so not exactly sure what to expect. It pours a very pale cloudy gold with distrubing hints of green. Taste of old rotten apples at first, but hints of tough pear skin come through. Some spiciness in the throat. Dry finish is ruined by a lasting aftertaste of vinegar. On the basis of this I donโt think I want to try any more perries...

From bag in box, Henglers Circus. JDW. Yellow-greenish colour, no head. Aroma is slight sweet green apples. Flavour is slightly sweeter, fresh apple, low carbonation. Actually quite nice, tastes a bit like an Asturian cider. Slightly dry finish.

Bag in a box at Westgate JDW Canterbury. Hazy gold colour. No real head. Its a not too bad medium sweet cider. Some character from some rubber and some tannin on the finish. Yes really good attack of tannin up front too with a quite astringent finish. Decent
