On tap at the Felix Holt, Nuneaton. As Sir Noël. Dark golden to Amber colour with a foamy off white head. Aroma is grainy sweet malt. Taste is sweet.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swindon Beer festival, 28/10/2016. Deep brown with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet, slightly toasty malts, some leafy hops and a touch of berry fruits, before a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

500ml bottle into a UK pint sleeve at home on 29th Sep 2016. Light amber body, white head. Mild malty aroma and taste with some mixed fruity esters alongside in the nose. Flavour wise there is a caramel feel with a slight sweet fruitiness. Overall it is semi-sweet and both malty and fruity: decent.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest carbonation. Light sweetish malts. Mild floralness. A little marmalade. Light finish. Hoperation? Is this a new word to describe the removal of hops from a beer that promised them? Bah!

Keg on boat at Caversham, 9th September 16. Pours light bronze, aroma is cararmel, Malta, biscuit. Taste is Light caramel, malts, fairly tasty, not bad.
