Cask at the Haymarket. Pours hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of ginger snaps, quite biscuity. Taste is light sweet, light powdered ginger. Light heat on the finish.

On cask at the Haymarket Bar. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - ginger and pale malt. Light citrus. Taste - more of the same. Lightly medicinal. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - not a fan of ginger in beer but this is bare able.

Cask at the Cross Keys, Newbury. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is straw and lemon. Taste has straw to start with lemon and green apple on the finish. Grainy hints.

[ As Arkells Perfect Promise ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, vomit - UK yeast notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, pale malt, fruity, citrus, baking yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150811]
