[ As Arkells Waimea ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light toasted, weak hops, vomit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, pale malt, toasted, light caramel, straw - floral. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140812]

Cask half pint at the Whitesmiths Arms (an Arkells pub), Gloucester. Deep golden to copper colour, low head. Malty aroma and flavour, a little tingling fruit in the finish. Not very bitter.

Cask at JDW Bishop Vesey; clear amber pour with a thin magnolia head, light lemon and malt aroma, taste is surprisingly fruit wasn’t expecting that from the aroma, sweet caramel, bitter on the finish.
