Sun Inn, Kelvedon. Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light smooth malt, semi dry. Whisper of sulphur yeast, barely there. Orange peel hops, light in presence but medium bitter. Light finish with a medium bitter linger. Okay.

On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Red body, white head. Looks okay. Aroma is burnt caramel, a bit of fruit in there too. Taste was robustly fruity with a dry finish. Okay, but very similar to Hobgoblin by Wychwood.

On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Decent looking drink, murky deep reddy brown, solid white head. Nose is mild liquorice, roasted malt and a bit of coffee lurking in the back. Taste is dry, reasonable enough body, nice roasted finish. Quite good to be honest and one that grew on me as it went on.
