25th April 2015: gravity poured half-pint at a beer festival in the Duke of York, Lichfield. Amber with an off-white topping. Nice blend of aromas and flavours with the malts just about winning the battle in both the nose and taste. Slight bitter finish.

18th April 2015: gravity poured half-pint at the Stourbridge CAMRA Beer Festival. Light amber to golden body, a white topping. Malts lead the way in the nose and taste with a mild fruitiness coming through in the flavour. Decent and tasty, not as sweet as my review might indicate.

Bottle @ Microbar, Manchester [311014]
Pitch black, frothy tan big head, some lacing
Aroma of dark malts, soft roast, some toffee, some yeast
Taste of dark malts, touch of toffee, soft roast, some coffee, hint of liquorice, getting some yeast, dab of plain chocolate, quite sweet dark malts
Palate - Medium carb and body, fairly sweet. Finish as main flavour with some soft roast
Overall - Was a bit warm out of the bottle, not a bad stout
