Magpie Brewery
Microbrewery
in Nottingham,
Nottinghamshire,
England 🏴
Associated Venue: Barrel Drop
Established in 2006
Magpie certainly isn’t the fledgling it once was, with the addition of three pubs, Crafty Crow, Barrel Drop and Doctor’s Orders, where you can experience our great ales and the best of independent brews from near and far. In 2019 The Crafty Warehouse bottle shop and taproom were established next to the brewhouse, where you can buy directly from the brewery or stop for a pint. If you’re a true magpie, remember to check our social media for information on pre-match drinks!
Despite our evolution from 2006, ultimately Magpie began with a passion for beer and a love of the craft, and that’s something that we’ve maintained. We aim to bring you the finest beer, made from the finest ingredients – no shortcuts, no compromises.

Third, cask at BeerHeadZ, shared with Finn. Jet black in the glass, fawn-coloured head remaining while leaving spotty lacing down the glass. Fine roasted aromas with a chocolate scent. Malt-driven flavours of chocolate, dark bread and liquorice followed by a roasted finish. Pleasant stout version. (Lincoln 30.01.2020).
