Clitheroe Beer Festival 2024. Slightly pinkish hazy amber in colour. Blackberry is evident in aroma but better in taste, although a hoppiness subdues both. Nevertheless, it's a fair tipple.

(Cask at Craft Beer Covent Garden, London, 15 Nov 2023) Copper colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, toast, citrus, orange peel and autumn leaves. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, dried apricots, citrus, orange peel and a balanced citric/earthy bitterness. Light body, quite dry. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Cask @ Gas Works Brewbar, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Hoppy brew with some golden ale style sweetness about it. Feels watery in the palate.

Cask at Guild Ale House, Preston. Pours murky yellow gold with a decent fluffy white cap. Aroma is akunky hop, gooseberry, pissy notes, hint of malt. Tastecis skunky hop, gooseberry, earthy and pissy notes. Solid stuff.

Cask @ Cromwell's Tap House. Pours a clear amber, off-white head. Malty, twiggy feel with a robust bitterness, fairly light bodied.. fine for a light twiggy bitter.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 28th October 2023. Hazy amber with shallow disappearing foam and almost no lacing. Caramel malt and spices in aroma. Spicy and hoppy in-mouth with bitter orange peel. Bitter yet fruity finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 28th October 2023. Coppery amber with shallow foam and spot lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Grassy and leafy hoppiness in-mouth and a finish of sweet malts and leafy hops. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.
