Ale House, Chelmsford. Cask. Light haze on this deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts bring mild chocolate. Trace of tangy fruits. Loadsa nuts with bitterish peanut brittle bringing up the rear. Fruity nutty finish. Amusing.

Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours almost black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, sour berries and light roasting. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, medium tart sourness. Quite light body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Thought it had gone tbh, was assured it was 'meant to be like that' and had been sour since cask was first tapped. Apparently it wasn't selling well. Not at all keen on this.
