Cask (handpump) @ Kelham Island Tavern, 62 Russell Street, Sheffield - Kelham Island, South Yorkshire, England S3 8RW. [ As Imperial 1st Impessions ].Clear medium yellow - amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, pale malt, grass - flowers - fruity, hoppy, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - toffee mostly, light biscuit. Taste - toffee and apple. Again a hint of biscuit. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and fairly dry finish. Overall - a solid bitter.
