Cask at William Stead JDW Darlington. Gluten Free. Dark brown colour, tan foam head and aroma of rhubarb, malt. Taste is sweetish, malty, chocolate hint, with tart rhubarb & custard notes, and roasty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying rhubarby spiced bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Handpull cask at the Court House, Dudley. Mid-gold and clear with a little off-white head and loads of lacing. As I brought it to the table I got the fresh aroma of satsumas and tropical fruit. Is this my beer I smell? Delicious. Taste doesn't disappoint with a bittersweet, fruity flavour, raipe Oranges and pineapple, some pink grapefruit. More intense tongue-coating bitter toward the finish but it never jars. Medium body, soft carbonation. A wonderful beer.

Taste is roasty, malty, liquorice, coffee and chocolate, with ashy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasted bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweetish, malty, roasty hint, with bready & dried fruity notes and some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
