Description
Blue Bee Brewery is an independent brewery in the heart of the valley of beer in Sheffield, England.

Blue Bee was set up in 2010 by Richard Hough, former head brewer at Abbeydale, who has also done stints at Acorn, Crown, Spire, Raw and Marble. Starting his own brewery allows him to use this invaluable experience on his own terms, creating beers that are noted for “quality, consistency and with a slight addiction factor”. In 2014 the business was acquired by Reet Ale Pubs, which runs three pubs in Sheffield.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 20th August 2024, Station Hotel, Oakengates. Pale golden body, clean and clear, white head. No idea what the single hop was/is, but there's not much of it in the half I had.

Skipton Beer Festival 2024. Black in colour. Strong but its smoothness as well as being pleasant in the palate goes a long way to subdue the alcohol. Good dark malts, never really gets roasted.
