Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 30/12/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well, decent lacing ensues. Nose is lightly hopped, orange, citrus fruits, bread dough. Taste comprises orange pith, grass, soft bread dough, lemon rind, light tropical fruit notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation leading towards dry grassy bitterness in the closure. Solid GB affair.

Cask@The Hack&Hop, London - pours almost clear gold with very small to no head. Light floral/hoppy citrus taste and aroma, some straw, grass, not much "bite" to this, body is very thin, not much going on with the palate. Not sure on this one.

Cask at the Lyric, Soho - big thanks to agent Paolo of the Londres bureau of CDA for putting me onto this one, I was there 61 minutes after the call, 19/11/13. Light black with a good sized head of tan bubbleage. Nose is light roast, pine needle, jammy berry fruits, light tropicals, earthy cocoa powder - ticks all the CDA aroma boxes. Taste comprises earthy hops, pine tingles, Ribena berries, mineral bite, light roast, faint cocoa. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light roast and moderate hop bitterness at the reckoning. Decent CDA.
