Description
Three Brothers Brewing Company is the vision of Kit Dodd, to start up and run a microbrewery in his home town of Eaglescliffe, County Durham. After brewing for 5 years, Kit decided the time was right to step out and make his vision a reality. Along with his older brother Dave and brother in law Chris, they turned an empty shell industrial unit into a modern and efficient brewery, capable of producing 16000 pints per week.

What makes Three Brothers Brewing Company different? Many breweries have the ability to make great craft beer, some can make a variety of great beers but with a small pilot plant we have ability to trial and perfect our recipes to ensure we only supply our very best. Add in Kit’s chemical engineering degree and our extensive range of quality control equipment, we can ensure the consistency and quality of our beers remain at the highest standard.

It is the blend of passion, experience, innovation and style that makes the beer we produce competitively tasty, refreshingly different and always of the highest quality.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Very dark with a creamy off-whtie head. Has a lovely milky smooth texture and taste, with its roasted malts developing into a sweet milkiness. Its ginger influence is light but evident. Good aroma.

On cask @ the Stockbridge Tap. This could've been loaded as a sweet stout as it contained lactose too. Appearance - opaque black. Fawn head. Nose- light ginger but the creamy chocolate from the stout is dominant. Taste - again light ginger note and a lovely creamy chocolate stout apart from that. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. Elegant finish. Overall - this probably should be loaded as a milk stout as they have been subtle with the ginger. And that's a good thing. Nice beer.

On cask a long time ago in a universe far, far, away. Appearance - darth vader helmet, black. Head like a stormtrooper's body armour. Steady!!! Nose - light creamy chocolate. Burnt under carriage from short circuity energise movement. Taste - dark chocolate digestives. There's an orange note in there too, Spok. I know, "illogical, Captain." Palate - close to medium bodied, 7 of 9 but William Shatner. Dry witty finish. Overall - ewoks on the starboard side, Jim! Beware the ring if fire, Solo!
