20/7/2018. Cask at the Newcastle Tap. Pours dark gold with a small white head. Aroma of unripened mangoes, caramel, subtle ginger, syrup and flowers. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily/sticky texture, soft carbonation. The ginger increases a little in the finish but it still pretty mild. Not a bad brew,

Bottle courtesy of Grumbo. Thanks. 4.8 % ABV. Light hazy red brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate and toffee. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 200718

Bottle @ Lincs tasting, Højbjerg. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, nuts, chocolate, roast malt and hops. Sweet finish. More like a Mild Ale.

500ml bottle: BB Oct 2018. Poured into an Abbot Ale pint glass tankard at home on 1st July 2018. Not usually a fan of 'honey beers', but I really enjoyed this one. Clean golden body, white crown. Aroma had a honey front with some herbal notes for back up. The taste was also honey forward, but more subtle than in the nose, some malty molasses sweetness being the main players flavour wise, light hop balance.

Bottle, I think from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Missus got me this one. Clear, very dark, ruby red. Thin and messy, lasting, beige head. Nose has chocolate milk. Hint of ginger cake. Light roast malt. Taste is milky sweet. Trace of roast malt bitterness. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. More of the milky thing. Low carbonation. Light bitter finish, with a soft twang of ginger. Decent. Probably better on cask, maybe.

13/6/2018. Cask at the Split Chimp, Newcastle. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of hop, citrus, malt, grass, tropical fruit, caramel, light herb and a touch of pine. Moderate sweetness, medium plus. Medium body, oily texture, average to fine carbonation. Fruity bitter fnish. Lots going on with this one.

7/6/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours golden with a short lasting white head. Aroma of honey, flowers, grass, sweet caramel and malt. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily texture, slightly above average carbonation. Some sharpness to finish to go with the honey. Starts quite nice, but becomes a little bland.
