Description
Wild Card Brewery was founded in 2012 at the Ravenswood Industrial Estate Walthamstow.

We brewed Mon-Fri and come the weekend, we would open the brewery doors and serve up our beers. With support from the local community our shed became one of Walthamstow's best loved bars, hosting beer festivals, tap takeovers and live music.

Meanwhile, in the brewery, Jaega was working away, tweaking old recipes and coming up with new ones. By 2017 she had 2 award winning beers under her belt and was struggling to make enough beer to keep up with demand - we were going to need a bigger brewery. So in 2017, we started a crowdfunding campaign to help us move the brewery to a bigger site.

In 2018 the brewery moved over to Lockwood Way, where we have doubled capacity - which means lots of Wild Card beer for all.

Wild Card Brewery now has two tap rooms in Walthamstow, and our beer is available in pubs, bars, restaurants and supermarkets across the UK.

Can from Tesco Supermarket, Middleton. Lighter golden coloured with a head. Its strength gives it a fuller taste, is quite hoppy with decent amounts of citrus and has light fruity elements in this respect with some zest about it. Presumably this a stronger version of the Queen of Diamonds brew given this is the image on the can.

Can from Tesco. Pours clearest by far of their new IPA gear, still a bitty hazy golden beer with a thin white head. Aromas of lime and coconut. Taste is also lime and coconut. Some light sweet malt notes. Not bad

Can at home picked up from Tesco. Alight hazed dull golden coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is earthy straw, hay, orange rind, earthy lemon, burnt grass. Flavour is composed of earthy straw, grassy citrus, damp hay, grassy orange, Palate is grainy, straw, moderate carbonation. ok.

Can from Beer52. Hazy gold with a white head and a light fizz. Lovely tropical fruit aroma. The flavours are of peach and kiwi, with a touch of spice and a piney bitterness. It's fresh and crisp and tasty; maybe just a tad too bitter to go with the flavours in my mind, but a very enjoyable brew nevertheless.

Can. Hazy cherry red beer, pale pink head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly thin malts that provide just enough sweetness to combat the slight acidity from the blackcurrant. Apricot is kinda subsumed, but just about there. Light finish. Tidy but a little too acid to neck.

Can from Tesco in Worthing. A really decent hazy ipa that had strong citrus line and melon in the taste.
