Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Gold pour with a white head. Pepper spice and citrus in the aroma. Citrus, light malt, light spice flavour. Not bad.

0.33l bottle. Black body with a light brown head. Smoky beer with notes of chocolate, roasted malts, spicy hops and dark fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice beer.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Simple grainy pale malts in the nose, some aged lemon rind, hay. Light sweet flavour with notes of biscuits, straw, more lemon rind, subtle grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Reasonably well balanced in the finish, with some further pale grains, citrus peel, mellow bitter grass, straw, more biscuits. Not bad. Easygoing beverage.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Slightly grainy, chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, a touch of liquorice. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, hints of cocoa, pumpernickel, a cautious touch of liquorice, minimally matallic overtones.

Can picked up at Oddbins Ldn Bridge. It pours clear pinkish - golden with a small white head. The aroma is soft of sweet - sour, tangy, cherry drops, earthy, musty, wet leaves and barnyard funk. The taste is drying, more bitterness than expected, earthy, musty, dirty funk, wood, tannin, berry skin, mouldy stuff, damp leaves and a bit of dirty spice with a drying and vaguely tannic finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Wish the cherry character was more expressive and this was cleaner. Tough going to get through really.

Can shared at Cotteridge wines, Cotteridge Convention III 20/05/2017. Many thanks! A hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is flora lemon, fresh grains, wheat and pithy lemon. Flavour is composed of tart citrus, sharp rhubard, wheat and straw, pale grains. Palate is grainy, light tart, crisp, .

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Weak, fruity hoppy aroma, hints of quince, a touch of strawberry, waxy overtonbes. Taste is slightly strawy and fruity, hints of strawberry and quince; quite watery.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly fruity, hoppy aroma with a waxy touch, hints of unripe mirabelle and nectarine. Taste is dry, slightly fruity hoppy, minimally grassy and waxy, hints of nectarine, mirabelle, a touch of gooseberry.
