The Uma Thurman film 'Prime' never got a sequel. This edition of prime is hoppy with a flavourless fruitiness - not sure how they've managed that, but that's my best description. A little watery too, so also probably a factor.

Clear and golden with a bubbly white head and a very soft fruit aroma. Light bodied with sweet cereal malt and fruit hops nicely balanced, finishes very slightly funky and bittersweet.

Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival in St Mary's Church; 25th September 2025. Third of a pint, poured light golden with a slight haze within, on top a white bubble or two. All a bit serious (see what I did there?) with a strange tartness to the fruity taste and aromas, wasn't expecting that from Simcoe and Mosaic hops, something else going on I'm sure, might even have been infected. Struggled to finish it.

Hazy pale gold with a bubbly white head and a funky hop aroma. Tart fruity bitterness with a dry bitter finish.

Deadication beer to two would be birthday notables had they still been alive given this is a dual hop beer. Jose Nasazzi, the Uruguay footballer who captained the first ever World Cup Winning side, and Elizabeth Foreman Lewis, the award winning children's writer, both born on this day. This is quite a bittered effort after an initial hoppy nose, although the hopped taste still evident.

Slightly hazy deep amber colour, number 21 for me at the Bradford Beer Festival 2025. Very moreish through its late lingering tasty sugars. Sweetness in aroma.

Beer Number 4 at the Wigan Beer Festival 2025. Glowing beer although slightly drab in its fruitiness. Remains drinkable though.
