Description
Serious Brewing Company is a 6 barrel capacity brewery in Rochdale. The brewery was founded in 2015 by husband and wife Ken and Jenny Lynch. Consitency and quality are at the heart of everything that Serious Brewing Company is about from the brewing equipment to the choice of ingredients.

Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Serious Redsmith ].Light unclear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, sweet fruit, sweet hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet fruit, sweet malt, caramel, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Dark clear brown, very strong with a slight bubble-gum sweetness in its taste.

Cask at the 2017 Manchester Beer Festival. Brown pour with a white head. Toffee apple, smoke, caramel and red grape aroma. Flavours of caramel, smoke, toffee and bake apple. Good stuff.

Cask at the 2017 Manchester Beer Festival. Gold pour with a white head. Baked apple and citrus aroma. Same action in the flavour. Quite nice.

Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Golden in colour. Has a light palatable texture, but not thin for its strength. Has a mild fruitiness.

Cask @ Brink, Manchester. Pale golden with a head. Has a strength to it, but the ginger is not overbearing or overly spicy. Has as spicy nose.

Cask gravity at the 2016 pigs ear beer fest. A clear amber copper coloured pour with a a lasting loose greyish beige head. Aroma is tangy red berries, woody, piney hop, bark, . Flavour is composed of earthy woody hop, red berries dry bready malts, dirty earthy pine needle. Palate is dry and grainy, light bodied, dry finish.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A dark black brown coloured pour with a loose mid tan head . Aroma is dry earthy roast, pinch of milky choc, . Flavour is composed of dry roast, little jam, berry. Soft roast. Lactose. Palate is medium bodied, highish carbonation. Good Stout.
