Draft at the American Taproom, Singapore. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is yeasty, rhubarb, chocolate. The flavour is moderate to light sour with a crisp and smooth, chocolate malt, tart rhubarb palate and lingering sour finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the American Taproom, Singapore. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big dry cheesy yeast, light hop. The flavour is yeasty, light acidic with a super dry, yeasty, floral hop bitter palate and a long floral hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very dry and very yeasty. Really in your face and sadly for me lacks the citrus notes that I like to see in a Saison. It’s quite a refined beer but I was struggling to drink it.

Sampled from the tap at the Royston Hotel. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dank tropical fruit and straw with a touch of crisp grass underlying. Flavor has a nice tropical fruit bite with a light dankness with a bit of grass and grain backing.

500ml can from Gavel Coffee and Kitchen, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, buttery yeast, light citrus fruits, wet dank, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, fresh, fruity, light resin, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A solid, old skool, no nonsense IPA.

From a 375ml can on 25/2/2019. Pours a fairly clear medium golden with a small head. Has a slightly odd, funky herbal nose. The flavour is fairly true to the description - sweet plum with a decent whack of slightly tart saltiness. Medium bodied with average to prickly carbonation. I'm a bit conflicted here - I don't think much of goses but do like salty plums. And ultimately this is more salty plum than gose for mine. Original, interesting and quite tasty.

Can. Clear copper with an off white head . Aroma of tenor register citrus, bread crust, mango skin, pine. A bit thin. The bitterness is not high but the lack of weight in the malt makes it feel a little rasping. Some boiled oranges. Not quite sure what it wants to be.

Can. Gold with a huge white head - slightly too big for the otherwise entirely appropriate Duvel glass. Aroma of oranges and their blossoms, crackery dough, coriander, white pepper. Dryish with a dry and bitter finish. Perhaps the oranges obscure some stone fruit that might have showed without the additions but they're really not excessive and it's hard to say where the fruit ends and the hop begin. No mystery, not very "farmhouse" but very much my sort of beer.

Pint on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Nitro gives this a large creamy head. Great nose of 'dry' citric notes. Smells like Australian bushland. Smooth texture, slightly bitter taste. Finish is subdued lemon, lime, and malt. Very very late pepper gives balance. Nicely drinkable.

Pint on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Golden bronze beer with a thin white head. Hugh fine carbonation. Great aroma of pine, plum, and malt. Good lacing. Taste is clean, fresh, sharply bitter. Finish is dry and herbal. Nice IPA, complex but easy-drinking.
