Cask. A yellow beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit as well as medium notes of malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Chestnut brown with a dense cream head; aroma of nutty malts; smooth and creamy texture but rather thin, with nutty malty flavours; the finish is lightly bitter and milky. An OK mild.

[Gravity cask at Chippenham beerfest] Sweet with plain chocolate at first, with toffee malts and a touch of smoke coming through. Chcolate is definitely the big theme here though, and it worked well for me.
