Description
We forged Firebrand in 2012 in a converted milking parlour on the untamed edge of Bodmin Moor, North Cornwall. The idea was born from our passion for beer made from all-natural ingredients, Cornish spring water, and American hops.

We brew beer that we love to drink and pride ourselves on our craft. Whether it’s a Hazy Vegan IPA or a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, we regularly refine and tweak our recipes to brew the best beer we can.

Originally launched because the co-owner and head brewer of Penpont Brewery Joe Thompson wanted to brew a more modern style so Firebrand Brewing Co. was created.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery. Drunk at home. Ruby brown and clear with a loose beige head. Malty aroma, some woody notes, forest floor. It is bittersweet, and while there isn’t so much to it, it’s nicely balanced with hints of toffee nearer the clean finish. Slightly warming, with a decent body and carbonation on the heavy side. Very nice.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery. Dark brown and a little bit translucent with a short-lived khaki head. Instant coffee, some chocolate, papery notes, a tiny bit of soy in the aroma. Sweet taste, followed by some coffee-ish bitterness in the medicinal finish. Medium to heavy carbonation. It's not bad.
