Description
We forged Firebrand in 2012 in a converted milking parlour on the untamed edge of Bodmin Moor, North Cornwall. The idea was born from our passion for beer made from all-natural ingredients, Cornish spring water, and American hops.
We brew beer that we love to drink and pride ourselves on our craft. Whether it’s a Hazy Vegan IPA or a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, we regularly refine and tweak our recipes to brew the best beer we can.
Originally launched because the co-owner and head brewer of Penpont Brewery Joe Thompson wanted to brew a more modern style so Firebrand Brewing Co. was created.

Pink lemon but very sweet. Not even tart really. Refreshing but somewhat disappointed

Rocky off white head on coca-cola coloured still body. Toffee & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with à lively back. Toffee, tobacco, blueberry & resinous tastes with a bitter grapefruit finish. Not sure about the Ruby Ale description on the can but drinkable.

Rocky white head on a murky amber coloured body. Fruity, malt, orange aroma. Medium bodied, frothy over the tongue with a cloying back. Sweet, orange, toffee, malt & grain tastes. Bit of a Quaffer.

Fresh but slight sourness, fairly typical lager, was hoping for a bit more from the cascade hops. Not particularly pleasant aroma, hay and slight citrus

The one on the left. Not as good as the other two sampled here. Could do with more hops!

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a mostly clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty, light toffee caramel. The flavour is light sweet, with a smooth, yeasty, apple, pear, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
