Description
We forged Firebrand in 2012 in a converted milking parlour on the untamed edge of Bodmin Moor, North Cornwall. The idea was born from our passion for beer made from all-natural ingredients, Cornish spring water, and American hops.
We brew beer that we love to drink and pride ourselves on our craft. Whether it’s a Hazy Vegan IPA or a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, we regularly refine and tweak our recipes to brew the best beer we can.
Originally launched because the co-owner and head brewer of Penpont Brewery Joe Thompson wanted to brew a more modern style so Firebrand Brewing Co. was created.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers. Aroma is very herbal which dominates and does not allow much else in. Bitter grapefruit comes through in the taste. Quite dry with minimal carbonation.

Can from Tick Beer. Pours a moderately hazy orange-gold with two fingers white head. Aroma of sharp citrus, gooseberry and passionfruit, slight grassiness. Taste of sharp pithy orange, passionfruit, some softer grapefruit in there. Finish of dry minerals and a moderate zesty bitterness. Very good indeed.

Can from Tick Beer, consumed 4 months past BBE. Hazy yellow-gold with big white head which recedes quickly. A citrus and stone fruit aroma. Taste is quite fruity, with zesty citrus, mango, pineapple, slight resinous quality, quite bitter for a NEIPA

Can from Tick Beer. Pours a dark brown to near black. Big coffee bean aroma with some roastiness and dark berry. Taste of coffee, chocolate, roasty, a bit dusty, some berries. Medium bodied, slick. Decent stout.
