On cask at the Cask and Barrel. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and wood. Some honey. Taste - loads of honey and just a hint of lemon and malt lurking. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid if a little sweet.

Gravity cask at the Bedford Beer Festival 2014. Golden brown. Small amount of natural carbs. Aroma of grapefruit, sweet spice and a bit of soap. Taste is bitter, soapy, a bit acrid. The finish and aftertaste are the same: a nice fruity bitter marred by soapy notes. Drinkable but not great.

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 04/06/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderate light tan covering. Nose is light roast, chocolate, puff of smoke, toffee fudge. Taste comprises much the same, less smoke than on the nose, earthier tones. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation - a little thin and watery, light drying close. Adequate stout.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a slightly hazy, light gold colour with a halo of white head. Aroma of diluted stink bomb; just pure ammonium sulfide. The egginess managed to seep into the flavour followed by watery, light floral hop flavours and followed by sweet candy sugar... This cask was no keeper.
