Footed Pils glass draft at HUDL Brewing Company in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pour is a clear golden with a white foamy head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is herbal, cereal grain malt, very much a German/Italian Pils nose. The taste is clean and engaging, featuring the crisp fresh cereal malt, balanced with grassy Noble Hops. Nice mineral character in the back. The palate is medium to light bodied with natural carbonation and the herbal grass hop and mineral finish. Nice one, very easy drinking.

Clear pale straw-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of pineapple, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of pineapple, grassy wheat and malt. The finish is fruity with a pineapple and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

A colorful 16 oz can from a visit to a Total Wine in Las Vegas in February. My first tasting from the brewery, I’ll use my Buffalo Bayou snifter because it feels right. The pour is an opaque brassy orange followed with a proper cover of completely white foam. I smell citrus, some tropical and a bit of grain and hops. A drink now. Oranges right off, a moderate hoppiness, grapefruit, malt, white bread and limes. Fairly dry and it ends with a substantial bitterness. Not bad.

16 oz can from Total Wine, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a clear gold color with a small off-white head and fair retention. Zero lacing. Sweet vanilla aroma. Decent sweet initial vanilla cream flavor, but then it degrades into a slightly boozy malt liquor-like finish. Not grainy, like most cream ales. Surprisingly boozy for only 6.0% ABV. Medium body. Lower than expected carbonation. Not bitter. I was hoping for much better.
