Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, dry hop flower notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Cask at the British Lion, Folkestone. Gold with a thin, dense, off-white head; sour fruit and apple flavours and a peppery bitterness to finish. Not very exciting.

Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge on 28th February 2009. Golden amber with off-white head. Floral and fruity throughout. Smooth with a medium body.

Cask, Flower Pot, Derby. Dig the Zappa pump clip....Still can’t believe that man wasn’t a Pot head. Ha. This was a bronze colour with a very thin off white head. Aroma and flavour was caramel malt, melon and a hint of spice. Gently lingering dry bitter finish. Alright.

Cask @ Market Porter with Mesandsim and Magic Dave6.Light golden color with a thin white head that quickly dissappears. Very light but with full hoppy and flowery flavor and aromas. Nice bitter finish and rather refreshing. Nothing over the top but still very enjoyable !

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol, 29/11/08. This was tried after the Pictish Samhain stout and probably suffered as a result. Black with a slight tan head. Roasty and chocolate aroma. Flavour was much the same, with some dark fruit and a decent dry finish. Ok.
