Market Porter, Borough 4 Nov 12. Veldig lys gylden. Litt skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Svak maltaroma. Smaken tam. Litt syrlighet kan spores i ettersmaken.

Fine winter ale with a robust heavy texture. Has plenty and a pleasant aroma which is a mix of winter fruits and cinnamon spice. This is carried through into the flavour which also has a smoked texture to it that really appeals. Dark red in colour.

Cask at Ruislip beer festival 2012. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, malty, wheaty, slightly sweet. Decent beer.

Half, cask, shared with Finn at Market Porter. Faint, white head. Clear golden-yellow body. Mild lemony hops to the nose. Lightly spiced fruity taste. On the sweet side of bittersweet ending. Easy going (London, 04.11.2012).

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Clear yellow pour with a thin white broken head. Skanky lagerish aroma, so the initial impression wasn't good. The flavour was a big improvement though. The combination of hops worked particularly well to produce a refreshing bitter taste with a good lingering bitterness on the palate. This won't be to everyone's taste though.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 18/08/2012. Amber with a slight, off-white head. A fruity bitter, with some sweetish cereal malts in support and decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Half pint, hand-pulled cask, in fine condition at The Angel in Manchester. Bright yellow-gold body. Tiny white head. Floral aroma with hints of sweaty hops. Citric-fruity taste with honey sweetness. Watered bitter endnotes. Mild oily palate. Beyond par. (05.07.2012).

Very crisp and good-looking with a light drinkable texture, but hardly any taste.
