Cask at the 4th Olds & Bolds Beer Festival, Footscray Rugby Club, 2018. Gold pour with a white head. Nose of honey, vanilla, citrus. Flavours of sweet citrus, more honey. Not a bad little number.

Cask @ Head Of Steam, Huddersfield. Golden with a head. It's a floral-heavy IPA with its strength evident and a stewed fruity nose, although its lingering floralness dominates this. It's not that flavoursome.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Nil aroma. Brown tinged amber. Thin white head. Light bitter. MSome sharpness to it. Malty base. Light bodied. Slick. Average carb. Abrupt finish. Entirely functional bitter. Sessionable. Forgetable. But 'Brown Lion'? Amber kitten is more accurate.

Cask @ Stubbing Wharf, Hebden Bridge. Copper-amber with a creamy head. Very crisp and hoppy with a mildly robust character - it's nothing like a brown ale - but what is there is pretty worthwhile.

Cask @ Grove, Leeds. Clear copper with a sticky-sweet texture, but not a stated sweetness. It’s mildly malty with a more stated nose in this respect.

Handpull cask at the Queen Edith, Cambridge.dark gold with a loose white head. Flowery, soapy aroma. Full bittersweet taste, slightly sickly floral note and some more soap. Long bittersweet finish. Issues abound, but I rather like this. Calling it an APA is a bit of a stretch though.
