Half, cask at The Three Judges, thanks to JohnRMurdoch for buying me the beer. Fragile lace from a low, white layer. Clear golden body. Floral hops to the nose. Moderate flavour profile of fresh fruity hops added by a grainy touch. Mild bitter endnotes. Feels a bit thin in the mouth (Glasgow, 12.04.2012).

Cask at Leeds 2012 Beer Festival, Pudsey, W.Yorks 16.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Sulphurous nose, pale gold in colour with filmy white head. Touch dry and with an ok bitterness. The taste is not too dissimilar to many a Yorkshire golden beer though it doesn’t stand out. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov12 3.2

Cask. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is very fruity with some slight spicyness and herbal notes to it as well. Flavour is rather similar with mild wooden and earthy notes as well. Yet quite sweet floral and fruityness, which makes this quite drinkable.

Cask, handpump at The Sportsman, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire 23.04.11 Pours amber with a white head, touch sweet some caramel. Lacking in the way of hops. In fact as pleasant as this is it probably shouldn’t be consumed alongside the Mallinsons Light Fandango. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask at the Bricklayer’s Arms BF, 2011. Clear yellow-gold with a fading foam head. Nose holds some sulphur, hay and mild lemon. Lightly sweet with baked bread, some straw, modest honey and lemon zest. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with hints of sulphur, straw and dough. Alright, aside from the sulphur, of course.

Cask handpull at The Rake. Gold deep clear virtually no head as it is not in the best of nick. Fruity aroma with some herb on the hop. Malts are fine in the mouth with a little honey on the finish. Decent enkugh if not in best condition.
