Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, earl grey & wet hops, floral pollen/nectar notes, trad. English dead cask ale. Sweet, leathery bitter, somewhat sickly notes. Firm body. Low carbonation. I like that it’s different from what I usually drink.

Can at home. Clear deep golden with fluffy almost white head. Caramel malts, bread crust, has this lovely deep malty nose. Later more apple, flowers, soft berries, bitter herbs. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Has a lovely nose but also some stuff I don't like a lot. Quite interesting though, and a nice change from all the NEIPAs of now.

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Station Hotel, Oakengates on 8th Oct 2020. Golden body, decent fluffy white crown on top. Citrus nose and flavours, some bready notes too. Semi-sweet overall.

Cask @ Station Hotel, Oakengates. Clear gold, small white head. Gentle hop citrus on the nose. Taste brings lemon cif, pale malt, light hop action, some straw. Fine easy sipper.

Cask handpull at Kelham Island Tavern .Clear amber colour lasting cream head this is why I love cask beer. good nettle hop. good base beer with light biscuit malt. good bitterness on the finish. it's great. love the hop character which has mineral leafy hop. loved it cask beer served as it should be. perfect. not too cold.

ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light hoppy, fruity - stone fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, fruity - stone fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20200122]
