Cask @ Knott Bar, Manchester. Blonde and hazy with a creamy head. There's not much flavour to its hops, just a smooth crispness to the brew.

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Clear golden with a creamy-frothy head. Its ginger is palatably light in both aroma and taste. There's some mild activity on the tongue.

[Gravity Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common.] A bright, straw coloured pour with a sudsy looking white head; sweet herbal aroma; sharper grassy taste; and a bittersweet finish. Nice to have a non citrusy pale ale for a change.

Cask @ Ashton Arms, Oldham. Copper-amber with a frothy head. It's lightly malty behind a more dominant hoppiness, with a bitterness to this. There's some sweetness in its aroma.
