Tap at Kaapse 2nd Anniversary. Hazy amber with white head. Hoppy nose *sneeze*. Caramel, hops, chalk, resin. Light sweet, medium bitter. Thin body, medium carbonation. Sessionable indeed!

Bottle from La Vache Folle, best before 12- 2016, lote 160302. Hazy golden coloured with a white head. Nose is light caramel, citrus, bit of fruits. Flavour is caramel malts, citrus, bit of tropical fruits, Low-medium carbonation. Slightly light bodied. Well done for a 3.5% beer.

Bottle @ La Vache Folle. Amber coloured with an off white head. Nose is caramel, light fruity, light hoppy, bit of citrus. Flavour of caramel malts, a bit grainy, citric hops. Medium carbonation. Average bitterness. Good drinkable.

Small brown head. Hazy deep dark brown body. Focused earthy chocolatey aroma with mealy herbal notes. Sweet fruity toasted sugar taste with herbal spicy notes. Full-bodied. Mild, hot mouthfeel, slightly flat. Sweetish spicy herbal toasted mineraly sugar aftertaste with pine needle and agave notes. Very good, and very interesting. (0.33l bottle, from Rosses i Torrades, Barcelona.)

Bottle from La Vache Folle. Black coloured with a dark brown head. Nose is roasted malts, roasted coffee, bit of chocolate, liquorice. Flavour of roasted malts, coffee, liquorice, bit of wood. Fairly bitter. Roasty finish.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken 11..03..2016. (r03). Lote 151101 para 25 años. Color negro intenso brillante con espuma beige oscuro persistente. Aromas intensos con predominio de cacaos especias y algo de maderas. Sabores también intensos maltas tostadas quizás demasiado especiadas, con una buena dosis de cacaos, ligero dulzor de frutos pasos y, para mi, demasiados toques de maderas de palo Santo. Cuerpo medio a intenso con 10.5 vol que se notan desde el principio, cierta densidad y Espumosa suave. Bastante buena. Para repetir.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken 02..01..2016. (r00). Lote 141203. Hasta fin 2020. Color rojizo oscuro turbio con poca espuma beige oscura. Aromas y sabores intensos maltosos dulces y con buenas dosis de frutos pasos y alcohol que le dan buen cuerpo. 9.4 vol. Toques de maderas empapadas en jereces. Resulta algo dulzona pero es bastante buena. Para repetir.
