Cask at The Bishops Arms Luleå 4 Aug 08. Golden colored - almost orange. Hazy. A large head that was reduced to a decent layer clinging to the sides of the glass. Strong and lovely aroma of fruit and chewing gum. Flavor in the same direction. A dry fruity aftertaste with some sourish bitterness. Quite good.

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma nice hops with citrus, hints of pine and some caramel. Sweetish caramelly flavor at first with some toasted hints and a bitter hoppy finish with some citrus. Medium body and a rounded mouthfeel.

On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. It pours a nice, creamy beige head over a ruby to brown, clear body. Piney, sugary nose with chocolate and a heavy maltyness. Lots of citrusy and piney hops. Sweet, chocolate flavor with coffee, citrus and pine. Balanced bitterness. Fullbodied and a bit sticky. Well hidden alcohol. Sweetish, bitter finish. Really nice one, dangerously quaffable. (080710)

On tap at Bishops Arms Avenyn, Gothenburg. A clear, copper beer with a nice but a bit small off-white head. Aroma of orange and pinecones on a malty background. Citrus, mostly orange, and pine in the flavor, with a nice bitterness and a malty sweetness to balance it. Full body. Malty and pleasantly bitter finish. Yet another lovely, hoppy beer from Dugges. Bottle. Frothy lightbrown good mostly deminishing head. Black-brown colour. Harsh malty moderate hoppy very roasted and light smoked aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Exstremely roasted and burnt, not very pleasent. Long finish. Creamy palate. Not my style, much too roasted and coffee-like.
