For research purposes only, had a little try of this - to style, where the style is sugary alcopop, it’s not too shabby! Marshmallow on the nose, watery pink in colour, very fizzy and very sweet.

Bottle from local convenience store. Appearance - golden with gentle carbonation. Nose - big fresh green apple note and big freshly made toffee note too. Taste - exactly the same as nose. Palate - light bodied then very sweet. Overall - actual flavours very nice, but so so sweet it can only be described as an alcopop.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Salford. Purple-red, slightly sweet nose, a little bit more sweetness in its taste, but this never gets stated or overbearing and the blackcurrant is obvious. Having had several supermarket bought dark fruit canned ciders, this is one of the better ones.

500ml bottle bought at Eide Handel. Horizontal tasting of four bottles from Brothers Cider. Clear pale reddish body, no lacing, just a few bubbles on the surface. Modest smell of mid-sweet berry skins. Mixed berry flavours, moments of blueberries and raspberries. More berries to a rather sweet ending, fizzy mouthfeel. Drinkable and best in test, which does not say a lot. (Tromsø 03.05.2021).

500ml bottle bought at Eide Handel. Horizontal tasting of four bottles from Brothers Cider. Noisy pour revealing a fast diminishing white head, cloudy grey-white body content, no lacing. Modest lemonade smell, sweet. Sweet aroma of pears and lemonade. Ends with sweet pears. Possible to drink as a sweet soft drink. One small glass was enough. (Tromsø 03.05.2021).

Candy sweet smell of strawberries, mid-dry. Sweet taste profile of lemonade, apples, and berries. Prolonged ending. Overly sweet and fizzy. About drinkable, mostly drain pour though.
