Description
Hello and welcome to Brothers Cider, the home of the original festival cider. We are Francis, Jonathan, Matthew and Daniel and for 14 generations, since 1658, when uncle Gabriel first sold his barrels around Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury, our family has strived to make light, refreshing ciders using a variety of fruit. We are constantly exploring new recipes and love to get your feedback on our latest creations.
We first started selling our Pear Cider at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995 near what was then called the Jazz World Stage. These days it is called The West Holts Stage but our bar is still in the same place. Over the years, festival goers kept asking us if it was possible to get our drink when the festival was over and so we decided to market it to pubs and supermarkets. Now you can get it all over the country and at other festivals besides Glastonbury. See you at the bar!

Bottle from B&M, Rochdale. Paler pink coloured. Not so much a marshmallow flavour, just sugared apples. It's a sweet cider for this of course.

330ml bottle from B&M. Pale pink, no head. Aroma of sweet pink marshmallows and municipal swimming baths. Taste is sweet, sugary and there is something familiar I cant quite pinpoint but its not marshmallows. If anything its more like cloudy lemonade in flavour. Its pleasant but very artificial and I can feel my teeth rotting as I type this. I've had quite a few flavoured ciders recently so I may need to pre-order some dentures just in case.

330ml bottle from B&M, Darlington. Bright purple-pink colour, pink foamy head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of cherry, grape, berries, pineapple. Taste is sweet, tropical fruity, pineapple, with some cherries and berry, sugary. Medium bodied, light carbonation, very sweet fruity finish. Too sweet for me.

330ml bottle. Clear dark pink colour with an aroma of strawberries and cream confectionary. Taste has the same flavour, very sweet, a little syrupy on the palate, moderate to spritzy carbonation. Very artificial, and your teeth feel like they are rotting away with the syrupy sugar but the flavour on this one is decent.

2017 Vintage, Thanks to HP. Fruity and slightly tart beginning. More winey in the end with woody apple skins in the back. Deep and very dry, the fruitiness fades in the end and gets replaced by a woody tart winey finish. Interesting.

Sample, many thanks to danlo for this! Clear pale pink. Aroma brings to mind cheap sugary sweets. Taste is super sugary, super sweet.. not especially marshmallow-y. Depressingly bad and not worthy of any more comment.
