Description
Hello and welcome to Brothers Cider, the home of the original festival cider. We are Francis, Jonathan, Matthew and Daniel and for 14 generations, since 1658, when uncle Gabriel first sold his barrels around Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury, our family has strived to make light, refreshing ciders using a variety of fruit. We are constantly exploring new recipes and love to get your feedback on our latest creations.
We first started selling our Pear Cider at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995 near what was then called the Jazz World Stage. These days it is called The West Holts Stage but our bar is still in the same place. Over the years, festival goers kept asking us if it was possible to get our drink when the festival was over and so we decided to market it to pubs and supermarkets. Now you can get it all over the country and at other festivals besides Glastonbury. See you at the bar!

Bottle shared in Hackney - cheers to Danny. Pours clear honey-gold. The nose holds ripening apples, hay, peel. Medium sweet flavour, lightly jammy apple, hints of booze. Medium body, subtly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with mild warmth, more juicy, ripened apples. Nice, straightforward cider.

330ml bottle, picked up from B&M. Pours a hazed pinkish red. Aroma is vivid rhubarb. Crisp, clear rhubarb and custard in taste, completely unrecognisable as a cider of course. Moderately sweet, a touch sugary, but basically tastes like fruit juice. Like a lot of fruit cider like it, so there.

Beetje kunstmatig.

330ml can from Morrisons Supermarkets Limited. Pours clear gold, aroma is predictably sweet, perfumed. Taste is old lady perfume, sweet apple juice, clean, well carbonated & a touch over-sweet. Doesnt state what hop is used, and hard to pick it out besides the over-riding floral notes.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een heldere cider, haast waterkleuring. Het heeft een heerlijke zoete cocosgeur met tonen van limoen. De smaak is zoet, appel en limoenachtig met in de nasmaak cocos. Erg lekker!
