500 ml. bottle. Orange tinged golden color with a reasonable white head. Aroma is semi-baked bread with a bit of noble hop. Body is near medium with coarse carbonation that bites lightly. Flavor is bread and a decent amount of grassy hop. Arguably crisp and clean. Good mouthfeel.

Bottle ( with greetings to Garching !): Golden to deep golden, hazy, slowly collapsing fluffy off-white head; quite heavy fruity aroma: ripe bananas and some lemons with a tinge of toasted malt; medium bodied, soft MF, moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour; solid, but soft fruity-lemony finish, rounded by a well hidden tartness and wheaty aromas. Very good Weizen.........

Bügelverschlußflasche (Danke, Jonas !): A bit unclear, bigger, loose, almost off-white head; gaint grassy-hoppy nose, backed by sweet malt wort and a touch of yeast; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, a bit fizzy, but all in all quite soft MF; a bit yeasty and fruity, but mainly bitter-malty finish with an illusion of a lingering hoppiness. Decent Zwickl.......

Bottle. Strong banana, light ryebread aroma. Cloudy browm fine carbonation, massive cream head. Spice and rye entry, fermenting banana, a bit chocolate. Medium body, lightchewy, sparkly mouthfeel. Banana-split retronasal.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is some banana with clove. Flavor is very creamy with banana and clove but with also a nice spice to it. A decent exaple of the style.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and lacey foamy white head. Dusty, slightly sweet, slightly grainy malty nose with a tinge of acidity and citrus, accompanied by very shy traces of hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Grainy, minimal yeasty taste; moderately dry, slightly bitter and yeasty finish with light herbal hoppy notes. Well-matured but not a world-shaking Zwickel (09.04.08).

Bottle (kindly delivered by joss!): deep amber coloured, slightly lacing beige head, nutty, sugary nose with a touch of roasted malt and alcohol; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; chocolatey-bitter and dark sweet-malty finish. O.K., quite well made.......

(33cl bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a mid-sized, non-persistent beige foamy head. Sweet, slightly sugary toast-malty and (wal-)nutty nose with caramel and light fruity (prunes) notes. Sweet and sugary flavour, full bodied with an almost crispy carbonation. Toast-malty and nutty taste with caramel and traces of dried plums; sweet and roasty malty finish with notes of herbal hops and an almost non-detectable alcohol.

Hazy brown. Slight muscovado note and hints of brown sugar, but otherwise thin. Perhaps somewhat oxidized, at least that’s the impression I get but still nice brown sugar notes.

500ml swing-top bottle as Innstadt Passauer Weisse Naturtrüb (5.3% ABV). Hazy, orange body under a huge white foamy head. Sweet weisse aroma of clove and wheat. Light and rounded taste of late banana and orange sweetness. Served at ambient temperature at Ikarus Cafebar, Wien Schwechat (05.12.2007).
