bottle - Pours dark amber suspended yeast flakes and a very small light tan head. It has an aroma of caramel malt and toffee. The flavori s similar with sweetness somewhat balanced by light hops. It’s medium bodied and overall pretty good.

12oz bottle. Amber peach color, pretty transparent. Respectable average head. Sweet blueberry aroma. A touch of bitterness upfront leads to a solid sweet blueberry taste. The mild amber malt tones give it a touch of depth, but overall a pretty straightforward venture. Nothing to write home about and nothing to whine about, it is what it is.

12oz bottle. Opaque orange-tan color, foamy off white head. The aroma is strong and certainly unique, some earthy floral hops doused in a herbal green tea. Medium body, with some earthy, flowery hop character and an odd lemon-lime tea taste on top of the toasty malt. Some English IPA qualities, but pretty much a unique concoction. Doesn’t exactly work out so well, but the bottle hardly wreaks of freshness either. OK at best.

12oz bottle. Dark orange-hued brown with a nice off white head. Fresh brewery aroma, some solid crystal malt coming through. Smooth, medium bodied. The low ABV really makes it incredibly easy to down, but there is still a touch of quality that stands out, making it an enjoyable beer to just sip on too. Smooth dark malt flavor, with a mild bitter earthiness. Toasty malt finish. Right on, but Id think a little more strength wouldnt have hurt.

Pours a murky, copper/orange/brown, with a fizzy body, but almost no head despite this - it kind of looks like carbonated green tea, ironically enough - a bit of bready malt in the aroma, with some herbal hops, chalky character, and honey sweetness - the green tea is fairly apparent in the flavor, even more so than the hops - some doughy british maltiness and dry mineral character arrive later - it tastes like someone dropped a shot of green tea into an english bitter - it’s original, but not very good.

Aroma is definitely blueberry. Color is ripe apricot tinged amber. Not much head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. It’s not sweet. It is malty in taste. The finish is essentially blueberry skin. An ok drink, but not a typical ale experience. Something of an ersatz chocolate aspect is present. It’s growing on me as time passes.

Pour is a amber with a small white head. Aroma is of fresh blueberry juice and some powered sugar. Flavor is some blueberry with a mix of some bitter chocolate. Nothing overpowers though and the blueberrys could come out more in the flavor. Another fruit beer that smells better than it tastes.

An overall light pale ale, but the tea is there in the flavor so that makes this an interesting changeup from the usual ipas. Gold color, and sadly the hops are too light in the aroma and the flavor. Mild malt base. The green tea is an interesting idea but they need to put in a decent quality beer.

Pour is a hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is deffinalty all IPA. Very much citrus and floral hops with a some caramel malts. Flavor is where this one is different. Very herbal and so much so it takes away from the hops. Gave it a decent rating b/c it was a good attempt and it almost worked. Make the hops show up over the green tea and you got something here.

12 oz. bottle, trade-out at the Flossmoor RB Chicago gathering. Popping the cap greets me with a nice thick caramelly malt smell. Pours a roast-turkey brown with a thin scrum of a head. Malts come through in the taste as well. A nice caramel roast with a bit of chocolate and a hint of peat like in Schmaltz’ Alt.. Just enough hop for balance. Nice beer all around.
