Description

bottle, god after reading the reviews on this, I can’t wait. Pours deep gold to mild amber with a medium white head. Sweet citrus aroma with faint spice notes. Sweet malt, orange peel, and a presence of what is more than likely the mushrooms lingering in the finish, but it’s more of an earthy moldy wood kind of thing. Strange, and ruins what is probly a good base beer.

Bottle 30 cl. Now simply called "Oijen Winterbier". Pours a cloudy and opaque pale golden with a white head. Tart citrusy nose with some yeast. Quite full-bodied with plenty of fruit and citrus with a yeasty edge and an astringent and bitter finish. 200209

Bottle: Poured a murky chocolate brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is chocolate, malt, and slight spice. Taste is highly vinegar and seemed infected, some malt. Eek bad bottle for sure!

Bottle: Poured a white yellow with a white head. The aroma is strong with wheat, spice, and fruit. The taste is like a Belgium white but 10%? Citrus, corriander spice, and wheat. The alcohol was hidden well, but leaves my mouth warm.
